A versatile space with white plywood/plasterboard walls, a vaulted ceiling and spotlights - creating a warm and inviting space.
Measuring around 8m long x 6m deep, with an added 2.5m x 3m entrance area.
Plinths are on hand for 3D work and 2 double electrical sockets on the front and back baseboards for digital media artists.
The Gallery has undergone extensive work to reface the front and back walls with plywood, replacing the old plasterboard. The back wall remains 8.1m long but the front is now one continuous wall providing a smooth and uninterrupted background for displaying work.
Hire of the Benham Gallery
Costs for external hirers:
£35 per day
£175 per week
£600 per month (max one month)
£150 returnable key deposit for all hirers

Access
Exclusive use of the gallery, with lighting and plinths for the duration of hire.
Facilities
Kitchen and toilets are in the end of the main Barn, adjacent to the parking lot.
Parking and on the road signage
Parking is onsite and can accommodate around 35 vehicles if managed. For bulky or heavy items vehicles can stop directly outside the Gallery entrance door.
An A-board will be provided to advertise the event to passers by on Boxted Road for the duration of hire (if applicable).
